Devotees, Tourists and Ayyappa Swamy Mala Pilgrims majorly visit Sabarimala during Mandala Puja and Makara Vilakku Days every year. This year the online registration for Virtual Queue Tickets started from November 16th to January 20th in online at Sabarimalaonline.org website. At present more than 4 lak devotees are visiting daily at sabarimala ayyapa swami darshan. Recent spike in huge devotees visit triggered stampedes in Queue lines from Pamba & Nilakkal Entry. So Kerala Police have decreased the Online Quota in Pamba Entry and increased Spot Darshan Passes Q Token booking who are present at the Parking lot.

During the peak hours Sabarimala Hill can accommodate only 80,000 to 100000 devotees in 24 hours. Even during Makara Jyoti Darshan on January 15 3.6 lakh recorded was the highest number of pilgrims on Sabarimala Hill. Recently more than 20 hours of Waiting time is observed for Ayyappa Maala Dharana Swamis and 12 hours for Civil dress code devotees.
Some times, Virtual Queue reporting time is also expired because of parking or logistics issues. So Ayyappa Dewashom Board started New Queue Token system called Spot Q Token system for unregistered & Time expired devotees who visit sabarimala.
Devotees should visit Pilgrim information center in Nilakkal Busstand & wait for the Spot Queue Time slot Registration with their Aadhar ID card. Kerala Police will capture, Photo & ID details of pilgrim and issue the Entry slot for Pamba Queue gate.
Due to present Situation Spot Registration for Ayyappa Queue Entry is limited to 5000 persons only. Only Ayyappa Maala Swamys are allowed to register at Nilakkal & VandiPeriyar Centers. This is till November 24th or longer till the incoming of devotees returned to normal.
